ROTURA XXL

ROTURA XXL has one of those identities that becomes obvious before you finish reading the track title. Rooted in the Basque Country and deeply committed to schranz, his production leans into dark percussion, repetition and an old-school physicality while maintaining a very personal character.

Projects such as Underground EP and El Despertar show that there is a real body of work behind the project. His connection with GmM (GZK) existed before HTV, which made the decision to have him reinterpret “TATATAOFF” particularly natural. ROTURA does not merely add pressure to an existing track. He rebuilds the record until it belongs equally to his own world. That capacity for transformation is exactly what we want from a remixer.
