X4MB3 belongs to the new generation, but the underground history of schranz already feels embedded in the project’s DNA. The influences are not hidden, nor do they need to be: understanding where this music came from gives him a vocabulary that many newer producers still have to discover.

“Sonic Storm” brought that mentality into HTV’s first release. What interests us is how seriously X4MB3 approaches the genre itself, not as an aesthetic to borrow for a season, but as a musical language worth learning deeply enough to eventually manipulate in his own way. The old-school influence is there, but so is the desire to keep moving it forward. That combination makes him one of the younger artists we believe is worth following closely.
