OGTS understands that the most physical techno can also be deeply immersive. Rooted in Istanbul’s electronic environment, his work maintains an interest in rhythm as something almost hypnotic rather than purely aggressive.

What attracted us to “Backpropagate” was that sense of forward movement. The track belonged naturally on HTV’s first compilation because it added another interpretation of intensity: not simply louder, but increasingly absorbing the longer it runs. OGTS has spoken about music as a way of bringing people completely into the present, and that idea feels present in the production itself. For us, his work proves that schranz can hit hard while still creating space for concentration, repetition and genuine immersion.
