GmM (GZK)

GmM (GZK) is, for us, one of the most interesting and dedicated producers coming from Spain’s new generation of harder techno. What separates his work is not only technical ability, but an awareness that production needs a purpose.

Music written for clubs eventually meets a real system, a real room and real people. Every groove, transition and sound choice has to survive that encounter. GmM seems deeply conscious of that responsibility, and his records feel designed with care, judgement and devotion rather than assembled because a formula currently works. “TATATAOFF” was the record we chose to open Built to Last and later became material for ROTURA XXL to reinterpret. There is heart behind GmM’s production, but also ambition: the feeling of an artist who understands the value of electronic culture and wants to leave something substantial inside it.
