CALDAS is one of the most promising names in Portugal’s younger hard-techno and schranz generation. His rise has been visible both in the studio and behind the decks: releases across respected independent labels have arrived alongside increasingly important appearances across Portugal, while his bookings are now handled through Spektroom.

For HTV, that trajectory carries an additional meaning. “Lost In The Parade” appeared on our very first release, making CALDAS one of the artists who helped establish the catalogue before either side knew how far the project could grow. Watching an artist who was present at the beginning develop this quickly is exactly the kind of story we want this archive to preserve. He is not simply part of Portugal’s next wave anymore. He is actively becoming one of the names defining it.
